Installing A Hard Drive Into Desktop

Installing a hard drive(HDD). Some of you may think "really? this is so simple, everyone knows it" but believe me or not there are people who don't.

So whether you are replacing you old hard drive or adding a new one to get more space, it is always good to know the correct way of how to do it.

So here we are providing you with a video which will guide you through that easy process of installing a hard drive into your machine.

Now there is one thing that you need to do before you open pc case and start doing anything inside. We advise you to take extra care when handling computer components to avoid unnecessary expenses that may occur due to not following the health and safety procedures. So, remember to unplug the power cable, take off any hanging stuff (if you are wearing any) and use one of those antistatic wrist straps that are available on the market (DO NOT IGNORE IT)

These straps are used to to prevent the build up of static electricity on your body, that can result in electrostatic discharge, and damage your computer. We are 100% sure that you don't want that, because who needs unnecessary expenses?
Now if you don't have one of these, but you really want to install your new hard drive which just arrived, you can alternatively discharge static electricity of your body by touching e.g. metal leg of your desk. However if you are planning to do any changes to your computer system by exchanging any of the components etc.
We strongly recommend getting yourself one of these. They are available in most of stores with computer stuff, and relatively cheap (up to £5 if you research the market
