Back Up Your Data

Have you backed up you data? No? What you waiting for?

Many of you don't think of backing up you data until it is lost. Why is that? Hard to say, there is many excuses you can use, but what for? If you can prevent lost of data, DO IT! Really often what we hear is "I don't have time for that" or I don't know how to"

I bet most of you have some important documents or sentimental pictures on you machines. Now imagine that your hard drive overheated and burned. The data is gone! Now you thinking, why haven't I backed up? Isn't too late for that? Obviously there are ways to recover lost data, however it is usually very expensive. So, if you not looking for unnecessary expenses, back it up today!

Now for those of you who say "I don't have time". I have got good news for you. There is no need to spend any time on backing up you data as you machine can do it automatically. All you need is some extra space. If you have a large hard drive you can make a partition that will only store the backed up data. However if you don't have any spare space on your hard drive, in this case you may need to get an additional hard drive. but don't worry about spending money on hard drive, because I'm sure is going to be cheaper to spend some money on additional hard drive than paying computer technician to recover your lost data. And these days hard drives are not that expensive, so you can find one in reasonable price if you just research the market well.

For those of you how don't know how to do back up, we've got good news as well. We will show you how to do a back up, on Windows 7.

1.First go to Control Panel.
2.From section System and Security choose Backup your computer.

There are also other ways of backing up your data, for e.g.

Online back up- There is many websites offering storage space on the servers where we can store our files safely, and good  news is that there are some that are free.

USB flash drive- Obviously some of the important files may be copied to the flash drive. These days there are available flash drives that have large capacity, so we can store there much more files.

External hard drives- External hard drives are very useful especially if we want to back up our data and keep it secure, as we can copy our date on to it, then disconnect and put it to the safe place. External hard drives are very good way of backing up data from the laptops.

CD/DVD/Blu-ray- These are still used for back up, obviously they do not have much of a memory but if we just need to store some pictures safely we can always burn them in to disk and hide it in safe.
For best result of back up, back up of back up. What do we mean by that is making a copy and then copy of copy. What for? It is just for extra safety if you hard drive fails you have a copy, but if copy got missing then you've got one more copy.

Ok, now we did our bit of education, now is time for you to use it.
Do it before it is too late!
Do it now!
Back up you data!
